Samyaza is the leader of the Sentinels, the Angel of knowledge,

Through mythology and the book of Enoch, Samyaza and his army became enchanted with human beings, causing their downfall. The moment Samyaza was judged, the other angels decided to descend with him to our human plane. Samyaza and his army taught humanity about writing, battles, magic, astrology, astronomy, herbal manipulation, agriculture.among other basic teachings necessary for a society to evolve.

The book of Enoch reports Samyaza and his sentinels crying asking Enoch to write a plea for forgiveness to God, which was denied. The sentence would be that the Sentinels would not be allowed to speak or ascend until the end of the world.
